New markets have opened in recent years for Greek tourism such as from China, Russia, Poland and Turkey with reference to the mild climate (270 days of sunshine), wonderful beaches, culture, ancient history, environment, gastronomy and friendly inhabitants. Chalkidiki Prefecture belongs to the top 5 tourist destinations in Greece, has over 20 hotels 5* in its ground with 100,000 permanent residents and over 2 million tourists each year mainly from the markets of Western and Central Europe, U.S.A and the Balkans. In mythology, Chalkidiki was considered the ‘’trident of the god Poseidon’’ because of its shape that tore the waters of the Aegean Sea! Today, it is well known worldwide not only for its many and beautiful coasts but also for Mediterranean climate, its fresh fish and the biological products like olive oil, wine and honey. Chalkidiki is also a favorite destination of the residents of Thessaloniki city all year round while the international airport of that city is connected with Europe, Asia and America to facilitate the tourism.

The village of Sarti is the place where the SARTI MARE RESORT will be built, a place known throughout Northern Greece and the Balkans for its beautiful beaches, mild climate, friendly people and nice view of Mount Athos. The area is awarded every year with a ‘’Blue Flag’’ from EU for its coasts, while it has a south-east orientation that helps in the sunshine and the stay of the visitors. The bay of "Achlada" where the project will be located is very close to the village of Sarti, provides a fishing port for fresh fish while communicating with the main road network of the area. Due to the morphology of the ground but also of the location of the project, many forms of tourism can be developed like luxury, wellness, medical, gastronomy, sports, adventure, agrotourism, culture, silver, hiking, etc.
